As part of Agenda item no 5 for today's meeting I will be showing you a page I have drafted for the Mantid SharePoint site about Epics. The intended audience is ISIS so it is aimed at those who will be writing/delivering Epics or who will directly benefit from Epics.
There won't be time to look at it in detail so it any of you want a quick look before the meeting it is available at https://stfc365.sharepoint.com/sites/Mantid/SitePages/Mantid-Epics.aspx .
Provided we are generally happy with it I was planning a soft launch of it to the Mantid Team, Epic Owners and Stakeholders later this week or when I return from leave at the end of the month.

I have asked Jonathan to update the agenda for this afternoon.
As well as two Epics in the Analyzing column to look at this afternoon, there are two Epics in the Implementing (MVP) column that are looking to move either to Implementing (Persevere) or Done. These are `Bragg peak integration algorithms` (SS-26) and `Robust Bragg peak search algorithms` (SS-24). Richard Waite will be attending the start of the meeting to update us about these epics and allow you to ask further questions. I hope this will enable you to make a decision about the projects going forward.

Dear all,
I'm hoping you can answer a question I have. How do you get Mantid installed/upgraded in the instrument cabins? I get the impression this is not simple or straight forward.
I'm aware sometimes we get error reports for older versions of Mantid and when we try and encourage using newer versions it's not possible because it can't be updated. Sadly this means any fixes we've done can't be accessed because they will be in a later version. I'm trying to think about how this can be sorted more easily. It's in nobody's interest doing fixes that are not being used.

Dear all,
Rob has made contact with Franz Demmel - the epic owner for the SI Analyzer epic. He seems happy with the work so far. He will contact Rob again when he has more details for the IDF/IPF from engineering. We have no time scales for this so the epic will remain on hold for now.
I don't think there is necessarily any need for board members to intervene at present.
