porkbun.com | Expiring Domains - 60 days or less
= Hello there! =
There are domains in your account (mantidproject) that are expiring in
60 days or less. We suspend most domains after they are expired for 10
days. At about 21 days after expiration domains are sent to third party
auction services where auctions start at about 26 days past expiration. You
may continue to renew your domains up to 30 days past expiration. Expired
domains will be removed from your account at about 31 days past expiration
and will typically be deleted between day 35 and day 45. Some domains, such
as .cx, must be renewed before expiration to avoid costly redemption fees.
Please read the knowledge base article "What happens after a domain
expires?

= AUTO RENEW POLICY =
We will attempt to auto renew domains with auto renew turned on as long
as your account has a valid billing profile. For most domains we will begin
to auto renew at 7 days prior to expiration. You can always change your
auto renew settings here
<https://porkbun.com/account/domains?utm_source=porkbun&utm_medium=email&utm…>.
= DID YOU KNOW? =
Once your domain expires it will eventually get deleted and any services
you have attached to it, such as a website or a custom email address, will
stop working. If you don't renew your domain, it will be released to the
public and anyone will be able to purchase it.

Subject: Re: STFC Cloud service update
Importance: High
Good morning,
We are pleased to inform you that the majority of the restart work for the cloud has been completed successfully. We have restarted any VMs that were ACTIVE as of 09:20am on the 26th of October, as well as a portion of our L3 flavor VMs. User communities can now start or recreate any remaining VMs or services at their leisure.
Note that despite this we are still operating at risk until 12:00 tomorrow.
Should you run into any issues with your VMs or the Cloud in general please raise a ticket with cloud-support(a)stfc.ac.uk<mailto:cloud-support@stfc.ac.uk>
Additional notes:
* A small number of Hypervisors have experienced various hardware failures. We did expect this and affected User Communities will be contacted individually.
* The Openstack Swift (object store) Service is still undergoing restoration works and is to be considered Offline, further updates will follow.
* We are planning a few improvements to the Openstack Octavia (loadbalancers) service, this service may appear unstable while those works take place.
Best regards,
STFC Cloud Operations Group

Subject: STFC Cloud service update
Importance: High
Good afternoon,
We are pleased to inform you that the electrical testing in R89 was completed successfully over the weekend. This has allowed us in the Cloud Operations Group to spend today following our procedures to restore the service and, this work has progressed well. We are continuing to test the full VM lifecycle through all stages and once satisfied, will progress to starting up user VMs.
We will provide a further update on progress tomorrow.
Best regards,
