[Mpb] Query about computers in instrument cabins

Dear all, I'm hoping you can answer a question I have. How do you get Mantid installed/upgraded in the instrument cabins? I get the impression this is not simple or straight forward. I'm aware sometimes we get error reports for older versions of Mantid and when we try and encourage using newer versions it's not possible because it can't be updated. Sadly this means any fixes we've done can't be accessed because they will be in a later version. I'm trying to think about how this can be sorted more easily. It's in nobody's interest doing fixes that are not being used.
