Subject: Your STFC CLOUD VM "isis-cloud-linux-11" IP 172.16.103.234 has died and is unrecoverable

Hello Sarah,

The hardware system that was hosting your virtual machine “isis-cloud-linux-11” on IP address 172.16.103.234, ID add0fe4f-c3e6-441e-90ea-77e9809f147c has failed as the “hypervisor” that your VM was living on has had a catastrophic disk failure, which makes the virtual machine un-recoverable.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news ! Your best option is to build a new VM. If you are unable to delete the old VM – let me know and I can clear up the database from this side.

We are tracking this issue at our end as Jira call STFCCLOUD-7763 if you wish a reference number.

Regards,
